No wedding makes my heart sing quite like a wedding in nature - and one in Scotland? Even better! I've had the pleasure of photographing a number of very special and unique weddings in the outdoors, and this one was based at the stunning Otters Pool in Castle Douglas.
To pick a location surrounded by stunning nature is one that feels very uncomplicated and pure. Without the distraction of much decor (and sometimes a lot of people!) the ceremony stays about the couple.

Introducing the stunning Lucy, Liam and their adorable son, Ruben! This bride and groom chose to celebrate their wedding day at Stanley House in Blackburn with their friends and family.
Their day was fun packed and relaxed, full of the most important people to them. My favourite moment from bride prep was the first look with the bridesmaids - not a shot every bride wants but always packed full of emotion! The ladies all looked stunning in their soft pink gowns, blending nicely with the classy neutral colour scheme of the day....
Natural Wedding Photography
The biggest compliment I've ever had as a wedding photographer is to be called a ninja! This has been mentioned to me by at least three different couples over the many years I've been shooting weddings. They said I was so discreet when capturing the day, they hardly noticed I was there. This is honestly the biggest compliment! A wedding day is all about the bride and groom, and shouldn't be about the photographer.
