Adrian & Elizabeth | Prenton Wedding Photography Merseyside
I had the pleasure of joining up with the lovely Elizabeth and Adrian for their wedding in Prenton, Merseyside. The day was one packed full of many special moments, and full of much love and laugher with their family and friends. By the time their wedding day arrived, we'd already met twice previously. This is one huge bonus of pre-wedding shoots, as the couple feel a bit more comfortable with me and they know how I work.
I could write a long blog post about every detail from their stunning wedding, but I like to let the pictures...
Wedding Albums | Lancashire Wedding Photography
It's amazing seeing your pictures in an album. As lovely as they may look on screen, to see them in print really does brings them to life. I had the pleasure of designing an album for the lovely Paula and James who recently got married at West Tower. Here are a few shots of just a few of their pages of their stunning 12 x 12 inch fine art album. I decided to capture a few pictures to show clients how their albums may look in print, to give them a better idea of how lovely they can look. They come in a range of cover colours and fabrics, from beautiful...
Mark & Kerry | Pre Wedding Photography Ormskirk
I met up with the lovely Kerry and Mark for their pre wedding shoot in Ormskirk the other day. We enjoyed our walk down a little country lane, and the use of the odd corner of a field. I'd like to formally thank both Mark and Kerry for being adventurous and being up for getting a bit dirty! It was well worth it. Even though we only *just* missed some gorgeous golden sun, the pictures definitely reflect the fun that we had during their engagement shoot.
Mark and Kerry will soon be getting married next month, so it was a joy to hear more about...
Carole & Barry | Wordsworth Hotel Wedding Photography Cumbria
Weddings come in all different shapes and sizes. But I can honestly say that Carole & Barry's intimate wedding of a party of 5 (including me!) was the smallest wedding that I've had the pleasure to shoot before. Sadly the Lake District treated us to its usual weather, so we were unable to go outside. But that certainly didn't dampen the spirits of Barry and Carole's special day at the lovely Wordsworth Hotel.
I was only with them for a few hours to capture their special celebration, but I think the photographs show the emotion...
Michelle & Rob | Criccieth Wedding Photography Wales
I think whatever I say is simply not going to be enough to describe Michelle & Rob's amazing wedding day! I first got an email from Rob a month ago, his wedding photographer had cancelled last minute and they were desperate to find someone. Surprisingly I was free (unusual this time of year!) and I jumped at the chance to join them both in the stunning town of Criccieth in Wales. I had recently worked at the beautiful Portmeirion which is very close to Criccieth, so was over the moon to get invited back to Wales so soon after my last...
Printed in National Wedding Magazine
It's not often that I get to say that one of my pictures was published in a National Wedding magazine! So it's with much excitement that I share this article where one of my photographs was printed. It's only a little thing, but exciting none the less. This was the first time I had ever submitted anything to a magazine, so I was thrilled when they wanted to use my photograph.
I've always wanted to have my work published in a magazine, and have a goal of having more work published in future if I can get round to submitting it! But until then it was quite...
Baby Freya | Lifestyle Family Photography Lancashire
I met up with the lovely Heidrun, Tim and baby Freya at their home in Galgate, Lancashire. Baby shoots always have me slightly on edge, I never know how the shoot will go. Will the baby be content? Will it cry constantly? Will the parents be at ease or upset if baby does cry? How will the baby feel about a stranger with a camera? I was relieved that the shoot was incredibly calm, and baby Freya was a superstar! I even got some smiles out of her, but I won't tell you the noises that I had to make to do so...
Heidrun and Tim, thank you so much...
Nina & Tom | The Villa Wedding Photography Lancashire
I met up with the lovely Nina and Tom on their wedding day at The Villa in Wrea Green, Lancashire.
Nina and Tom's day was one filled with much love and laughter. They actually got married last year, so this was a renewal of vows with many friends and family members. Despite this, it was still an emotional day and a very happy one for all involved. There are many highlights I could write about, but one of my favourites was during the couples portraits when we all went to some nearby fields surrounding The Villa to take pictures of them...
Mitton Hall Sneak Peek | Lancashire Wedding Photography
All of my brides are beautiful. Each wedding is unique, and I enjoy every single one. But every so often you get a combo that makes a particular image that lasts in your memory for a long time. This sneak peek of the very beautiful Amelia from one of my weddings last week is certainly that.
I chose this image below as Danny and Amelia's sneak peek, as it jumped out at me on their wedding day. Amelia had sat down to have her hair adjusted by her bridesmaid and mother. The bride's stunning elegance blends perfectly with the majestic bedroom...
Pure Emotion | Documentary Lancashire Wedding Photography
Documentary wedding photography, reportage wedding photography, wedding photojournalism... whatever you want to call it, it's a large part of my style and aim as a wedding photographer. I always work to keep posing down to a minimum, allowing more emotion and natural moments to be captured on your big day. Acting as a fly on the wall for a large majority of the day, I let you get on enjoying yourself, and am as unobtrusive as possible.
I recently shot a wedding at Gretna Green, Scotland. I was incredibly privileged to witness this...
