Savannah & Gordon Glenapp Castle Wedding Photography

Meet the gorgeous Savannah and Gordon! They travelled all the way over from Washington DC to make their dream wedding come true by eloping to the stunning Glenapp castle.

Glenapp is an ideal location for weddings and elopements, set in Ayrshire it’s surrounded by impressive grounds perfect for exploring and photographs. The castle itself is incredibly grand, and the staff are very welcoming.

I joined Savannah and Gordon as they were getting ready in the castle, and they had their first look together on the stairs. We followed their bagpiper off into the forest for their beautiful intimate ceremony, which felt very ethereal with sunlight coming through the branches. It was such a lovely day, and the Scottish weather was rather kind to us! The bride and groom gave very personal vows which were accompanied by many tears, it was beautiful.

We had a great time after the ceremony making the most of the stunning grounds and picking out their favourite spots for their photographs. They later retired to the Library where they spent their evening together.
