Wedding Cake Photography | Wedding Cakes Lancashire
One of the things I love the most about photographing weddings is that I get to observe. I can observe the people, watching the emotions as they play out around me. I also get to see some gorgeous details such as the shoes, dresses, flowers and gifts during bride prep. During this part of the day emotions of the bridal party are often on high. This makes it such a special time of the wedding day, with the lead up to the ceremony.
Another part of the day I enjoy is being able to get a behind the scene peek on how the wedding venue is decorated. Some weddings are very elaborate and elegant, but sometimes they are simple and beautiful. The flowers in the venues are often impressive and the cakes are in so many different styles unique to each couple! It’s a lot of fun to be able to enjoy so much variety and style.
Here are a few of the lovely cakes I’ve had the pleasure of photographing, each different and yet a similar theme. I’ve seen castle cakes, suitcase cakes, dragons, dogs, fondant people and so many different flowers!
