Julie and Ward's day was a bit of a special one. I was asked to join up with them for a wedding photography shoot, as unfortunately their wedding photos provided by another photographer weren't quite what they'd hoped for. Liverpool Wedding Photography - Suites Hotel Jemma and Keith’s wedding day took place at the Suites Hotel Knowsley in Liverpool. The day was a beautiful one and everyone was lovely, including the staff! The only thing that didn’t quite go to plan was the weather!! But despite this, it seemed to work in our favour. We used their beautiful bridal suite for the couples portraits, and got some pictures that we would have missed out on if the day had been a dry one. Built in 1891, the stunning Hillbark Hotel  is located in the Wirral and is a truly spectacular wedding venue. I was there a few months ago as a second wedding cinematographer for the day. I am incredibly excited to be going back again soon, but this time working as a wedding photographer which is my passion. I met up with Mark and Erin on their stunning wedding day at the gorgeous Dalston Hall in Cumbria. I was working as a second videographer , capturing their wedding on my DSLR camera, the one that I also use for wedding photography. I love how creative you can be with a professional DSLR, you can change lenses which means you can change focus, depth of field and light conditions. This allows you to capture beautiful and creative cinematography. I'm a huge fan of using a shallow depth of field, which means you can focus on something such as the bride's eyes, and everything else will be out of focus....

I had the pleasure of working as Claire and Trevor's wedding photographer for the day. It was one filled with special touches that made it truly unique. I just love weddings like theirs! It makes the occasion so personal for the couple, and definitely more memorable for all of the guests. Northop Hall Wedding Photography I ended up joining Claire and Roger a bit last minute, but it was a decision that I certainly didn’t regret!! One of the joys of this job is being able to take part in the most memorable times in peoples lives. I've had the privilege of capturing engagements, weddings, newborn, children and family portraits, but maternity photography was a first for me. I was really excited when I was asked to do this shoot, as I know what an exciting and incredibly special time of life pregnancy is. For the maternity shoot we travelled to the beach at St Annes, Lancashire. The weather was absolutely glorious. I met up with the lovely Mandy and Jamie  for their pre wedding photography session at a scenic spot in Lancaster. The couple are soon going to have their wedding at the stunning West Tower, which they are obviously excited about! The evening I met up with Mandy and Jamie, it was going dark, so there was very little time to capture their pictures. We went for a walk along a gorgeous river, and through some fields where I ended up laying flat on the ground shooting through the grass, which I love to do as it creatives such an interesting perspective.
