Outdoor Wedding Catering | Cumbria & Lancashire Wedding Photography Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Philippa & Graham's wedding in the stunning Loweswater area of Cumbria, Lake District. Their wedding day was a unique and fun packed day, with all sorts of  detailed personal little touches. Portmeirion Wedding Photography Sneak Peek It's always exciting getting back from a wedding and taking a little look at the photographs captured that day. I met up with the lovely Nicola and her beautiful family for a Wirral Lifestyle photography shoot.  I was pleased to get some of their gorgeous little boy, Lewis, as they had taken him to a photography studio when he was a baby and he had cried the whole time. Nicola was saying that it was a stressful event for all of them, so she was pleased to see her three year old happy in his own home. I recently had the pleasure of working at Statham Lodge Country House Hotel in Cheshire for a pre wedding shoot for one of my couples. This year I am going to be working as their wedding photographer, which I'm really excited about! I've enjoyed capturing Cheshire wedding photography before, but I had never been to this wedding venue. The building itself is absolutely stunning, a Georgian manor house hotel. It gives a beautiful backdrop for any day, but is especially gorgeous for a wedding. Set in landscaped gardens, and surrounded by fields, this wedding venue has lovely views of Cheshire...

Chris and Jade are going to be my first wedding this year, so it was exciting meeting them at Statham Lodge for their pre wedding photography.  It was a gloriously sunny day as I made my way to Statham, but typically about five minutes after I arrived it clouded over. Needless to say it didn't ruin our engagement shoot! I love being able to meet with couples at the actual venue where they will be getting married. As we had a look around the gardens, we were able to explore all of the options we will have on the day for their photographs. Some people you meet leave a lasting impression, and Paul and Debbie certainly did that! I knew when I first received their wedding enquiry that it was going to be an interesting one. Their wedding venue of choice is the stunning Portmeirion in Wales. I've been there a couple times before, so I know working there as a wedding photographer is going to be fantastic. Last year I found the wonderful website and blog,  The Wedding Community. It's a fantastic site for all wedding photographers, brides and grooms, and wedding suppliers.  I saw they were running something called 'Picture of the Day' where photographers can submit a few images to the blog, and if picked, a picture will be featured on their site. I decided to submit just one image, and I was over the moon to be featured. In this modern society, it is the norm to receive your wedding and portrait photographs in digital files. This is incredibly beneficial, and practical. The impressive Hillbark Hotel, Wirral is next on my wedding venue locations list. I am going to have the pleasure of capturing Hillbark Hotel wedding photography this year, which I'm really looking forward to! It's a perfect location for weddings. I was there last year working as a second cinematographer, but this time I'm going to be doing what I love the most, photography.
