Wedding Photography Lancashire & Cumbria

I was back at one of my absolute favourite wedding venues this weekend, the very stunning Linthwaite House Hotel in Cumbria. Overlooking Lake Windermere, it’s an amazing location on a normal day, but to be there in the sunshine… it’s paradise! I was at Linthwaite a few weeks ago for Richard and Magda’s Pre Wedding Shoot, where the trees were still lacking leaves and the flowers were not yet in bloom. We were blessed on Saturday, as the leaves and flowers have now come out giving the gardens and scenery extra beauty.

Magda is Polish, as her parents speak very little English they had someone there to translate for them. During speeches,  Magda got up to hand her Mum flowers to say thank you for everything she has done for her. They both hugged for a very long time. The emotion and love was clear, and I can only begin to imagine how hard it must be to only see your parents every so often if they live in a different country. This was one of my favourite moments of the day, leading to one of the pictures below.
