Lancashire Wedding Photographer Near Me

Often people come across my website by Googling “wedding photographer near me”. It’s definitely a huge plus if a photographer has been to your wedding venue before, but personally I find myself travelling all across the UK – and I’ve even photographed weddings in Italy and Spain! So if a photographer hasn’t been to your wedding venue before but you love their work, what can you do?

I usually have a trial run of the wedding venue(s) before the big day. You just never know if that little place in the country isn’t recognised by Google Maps, or if the timings between venues is longer than you think. I can also get a little taste if there may be extra traffic on the day. City weddings certainly can bring challenges to the timetable on the day, and I hate being THAT photographer to put everyone else behind!

Visiting the wedding venue before the day also helps me to have a little scout of the outside, seeing where there could be nice light on the day. Plus finding pretty spots for the bride and groom portraits, and enough space for the group portraits if the couple would like them.
