The stunning Crichton Estate is located in picturesque scenery in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It’s such a perfect location for weddings, with multiple venues within a stones throw of each other and too many places to pick for photographs with a bride and groom. On this particular wedding day we were simply spoiled for choice for their portraits – I was excited to use the field at the bottom of the estate as there was long grass flowing in the breeze and some trees. Emily showed me a perfect gardens simply bursting with many gorgeous plants, flowers and trees. Another highlight was the large pond perfect for photos.

We were able to use the time we had exploring little pockets of the grounds, it seems you stumble upon surprises! I wish we had more time to explore.
