Chris & Ru | Dalston Hall Wedding Photographer Meet Chris and Ru! This beautiful couple were married in Gretna Green registry office and had their reception at the rather stunning Dalston Hall in Carlisle. Despite a rather wet day, they had planned such a chilled and relaxed wedding that it didn't add any stress. Thankfully we were able to get some bride and groom portraits outside in the grounds of Dalston Hall without getting soaked. I had the privilege of working at a very beautiful Dalston Hall wedding a few months ago. Dalston Hall is a Grade II listed Castle, located in Carlisle, in the Northern Lake District. Situated in acres of private woodland and stunning gardens, it's a perfect place for a wedding. Starting out as Dalston Hall's Pele Tower, it was built in 1500. In the time that followed, additional extensions and changes were made to the building.
