Clara & Duncan | Gretna Wedding Photographer Scotland
Meet Clara and Duncan! This gorgeous and kind pair ran off to Gretna Green in true elopement style to get married in an intimate ceremony at the famous Blacksmiths Shop . The drive up to Scotland that morning was particularly wet and the dark clouds covered over the hills. Surprisingly as soon as the ceremony was finished it brightened up and stopped raining which was perfect for the bride and groom portraits!
When couples book me to photograph their wedding at Gretna Green they don't usually want an overly traditional photography...
Lacey & Jake | Gretna Green Photographer
Meet Lacey and Jake! This gorgeous pair were married a few days ago at Gretna Green in Scotland. They decided to run away to Gretna Green together for a romantic intimate wedding and photoshoot, which was such a pleasure to be a part of! Especially when they asked me to be one of their witness for signing the register. They were married at The Mill Forge, which is where we did their photographs after the ceremony. They had perfect weather, the winter sunshine brightened up the beautiful scenery.
Lacey and Jake, it was so lovely to meet you both...
Kaye & Michael | Wedding Photography Gretna Green Scotland
Meet the gorgeous Kaye and Michael and their beautiful little family. They decided to run off to Gretna Green, just the five of them. There is something so special about a small and intimate wedding, with just family members. It was an extra privilege for me as they asked me to be a witness and sign the register along with Kaye's wonderful make up artist. Gretna Green is such a popular location for obvious reasons, but it's exciting to be asked to travel there to capture more natural photographs amid the tourist hot spot.

Sophie & Simon | Comlongon Castle Wedding Photographer Scotland
Meet the stunning Sophie and Simon! This warm and friendly couple were married at the perfect Comlongon Castle in Scotland. It was such a lovely day which included the ceremony in the top of the castle, the wedding rings were delivered by a hawk (the owl was car sick!) and a birds of prey display for the wedding guests in the castle grounds. One of the detail highlights was their very special cake which was incredibly impressive with a dragon bride and groom on the roof of a large castle. It was such a relaxed and happy...

Joe & Kim | Gretna Green Wedding Photography Teaser
Kim and Joe first emailed me a while back and told me they were getting married in beautiful Gretna Green, Scotland. They were after natural, non cheesy photos which excited me as that's what I love best! We had such a beautiful day together, although the weather was typical of Scotland where it was raining one minute and sunny the next, everyone had a lovely day and it was a true pleasure to work with them both and capture their lovely day. In the evening I snuck Joe and Kim off into a field behind The Mill Forge for some photos, it was absolutely...

The day was an incredible one, my little family and I enjoyed a weekend away where we were able to join in with the festivities as I was working as their wedding photographer. The day felt like it had so much more meaning as it was a family wedding, I am always attached to my brides and grooms as I get to know them before the big day, but when it's family... it's a whole different level!
Despite torrential rain for a majority of the morning...
