I met up with the lovely Mandy and Jamie  for their pre wedding photography session at a scenic spot in Lancaster. The couple are soon going to have their wedding at the stunning West Tower, which they are obviously excited about! One thing couples want to see when checking out wedding photographers is a portfolio. Many people are happy to view this online, and in this modern society it's easy, quick and convenient. But some people prefer to see albums in front of them, and I have to say, it's amazing viewing photographs in print. They truly come to life on the pages of an album. I have a couple of albums that I take along with me to potential client meetings. This photograph is probably my ultimate favourite that I have taken to date, capturing wedding photography. I hope the image speaks for itself. It's one of those shots that looks like it was set up in a studio, but it was actually a spur of the moment, natural documentary style shot. The little girl happened to look up at her Mummy, the bride, and the light above her hit her face just perfectly. I bent down, and the angle was just right to capture her gazing up at the bride. Every so often a friend of mine asks me to take some pictures for them, and it's always extra special when they ask for some portraits of their children. I've done newborn photography before, but when this particular friend asked me to capture some images of her son, I was thrilled. Sneak Peek | Wales Wedding Photography Criccieth It was with great pleasure that I joined up with the stunning Michelle & Rob for their wedding last weekend in the beautiful seaside town of Criccieth, North Wales.
