Holly & Simon | Cumbria Wedding Photography Linthwaite House Hotel I had the pleasure of meeting up with the lovely Holly and Simon a few weeks ago for their gorgeous intimate evening wedding at the stunning Linthwaite House Hotel. I was only with them for a few hours, but the atmosphere was obviously one of relaxed happiness. I had the privilege of joining the lovely Jenna Carpenter Photography in capturing the Cumbria wedding photography of Catriona and Tristan. She had asked me to help photograph their day, and I was more than happy to accept! I have worked with Jenna a couple of times before, and we always have a wonderful time. I had the privilege of working at a very beautiful Dalston Hall wedding a few months ago. Dalston Hall is a Grade II listed Castle, located in Carlisle, in the Northern Lake District. Situated in acres of private woodland and stunning gardens, it's a perfect place for a wedding. Starting out as Dalston Hall's Pele Tower, it was built in 1500. In the time that followed, additional extensions and changes were made to the building. Magda & Richard | Linthwaite House Hotel Pre Wedding Photography Yesterday I was once again back at one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have ever been to. Linthwaite House Hotel is situated overlooking the stunning Lake Windermere in Cumbria, and is simply spectacular. Rain or shine, this venue really does have the 'wow' factor! I had the privilege of shooting a wedding there last year, and this year I am going back SIX times, including pre-wedding shoots! This photograph is probably my ultimate favourite that I have taken to date, capturing wedding photography. I hope the image speaks for itself. It's one of those shots that looks like it was set up in a studio, but it was actually a spur of the moment, natural documentary style shot. The little girl happened to look up at her Mummy, the bride, and the light above her hit her face just perfectly. I bent down, and the angle was just right to capture her gazing up at the bride. I won't tell you the full story as I don't want to spoil the magic of the shot, as I love how this one really plays on the imagination!...
