They were married in an intimate ceremony at the Famous Blacksmiths Shop in Gretna Green in Scotland. Choosing to prepare for the wedding at the popular Smiths Hotel, they got ready with their closest loved ones. It was such a relaxed morning, and once everyone was ready they walked over to the ceremony venue the Blacksmiths Shop. After the lovely ceremony we took some photographs outside with their guests, then made the most of the Scottish scenery for their portraits....

Debs & Neal | Smiths Hotel Wedding Photographer Gretna Introducing the gorgeous Debs and Neal! This lovely bride and groom decided to elope in a secret wedding to Scotland. They chose the iconic Smiths Hotel as their venue, in the historical town of Gretna Green. Gretna is world famous for their history of weddings, and for elopements. Debs and Neal had their ceremony on the balcony of Smiths Hotel - a perfect backdrop with the vast fields of Scotland behind them. It was a cosy and intimate ceremony! After the legal part, a realistic replica of an anvil was used to wish the couple well....

Debra & Neil | The Coach House Wedding Photographer Gretna Green Meet the lovely Debra and Neil! I popped up to Gretna Green to join them for their intimate wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Gretna Hall. They chose to have their official ceremony in the Coach House which is very famous and packed with history. They were celebrating with a few close friends and family, afterwards they enjoyed a meal at Smiths Hotel. The day was very wet, typical of Scotland but that never takes away from the beauty! We did a few group photos inside The Coach House before the bride and groom portraits...
