One of the prettiest castles I've had the pleasure of working at, Auchen Castle is a perfect location for a wedding whether that is an elopement or an event with your favourite friends and family. Multiple lounges provide plenty of places to sit and chat should the weather be typically Scottish! But the grounds of the castle are what make it extra special. Chris & Ru | Dalston Hall Wedding Photographer Meet Chris and Ru! This beautiful couple were married in Gretna Green registry office and had their reception at the rather stunning Dalston Hall in Carlisle. Despite a rather wet day, they had planned such a chilled and relaxed wedding that it didn't add any stress. Thankfully we were able to get some bride and groom portraits outside in the grounds of Dalston Hall without getting soaked. The guests were up to the challenge with umbrellas at the ready for the group photos! It was nice to be able to get some natural light and pretty background...
