Last year they went through the devastating loss of their son who was born at 27 weeks, stillborn. He was a true fighter, hanging on for 7 whole weeks despite all odds, but sadly he didn't make it. Through all this sadness and loss they became pregnant again, with this gorgeous girl. We couldn't have been happier for them when she arrived safe and sound in her Mummy and Daddy's arms. Every so often a friend of mine asks me to take some pictures for them, and it's always extra special when they ask for some portraits of their children. I've done newborn photography before, but when this particular friend asked me to capture some images of her son, I was thrilled.
