Cumbria Wedding Photography A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working as Chris and Kelly's wedding photographer in the gorgeous Abbey House Hotel in Barrow-in-furness, Cumbria. One thing couples want to see when checking out wedding photographers is a portfolio. Many people are happy to view this online, and in this modern society it's easy, quick and convenient. But some people prefer to see albums in front of them, and I have to say, it's amazing viewing photographs in print. They truly come to life on the pages of an album. Meg and Chris are one of those couples that you instantly warm to. From the very start, they were an absolute pleasure to be around, and I was incredibly excited to be capturing their wedding photography for them! I recently had the pleasure of working at a Bartle Hall wedding, which isn't too far from my home base. The day was a beautiful one, and it was interesting to work in a venue where I'm usually a guest! Unfortunately the weather was very stormy, during bridal preparation there was thunder, lightening, hail stones, and torrential rain... not exactly what every bride hopes for on their wedding day!
