One thing I learned quickly about working as a wedding photographer is that you have to expect the unexpected on a wedding day. Equipment can really help you in tricky situations, and having a decent bag to protect your gear and carry it around is essential. Julie and Ward's day was a bit of a special one. I was asked to join up with them for a wedding photography shoot, as unfortunately their wedding photos provided by another photographer weren't quite what they'd hoped for. Built in 1891, the stunning Hillbark Hotel  is located in the Wirral and is a truly spectacular wedding venue. I was there a few months ago as a second wedding cinematographer for the day. I am incredibly excited to be going back again soon, but this time working as a wedding photographer which is my passion. I had the pleasure of working as Claire and Trevor's wedding photographer for the day. It was one filled with special touches that made it truly unique. I just love weddings like theirs! It makes the occasion so personal for the couple, and definitely more memorable for all of the guests. Northop Hall Wedding Photography I ended up joining Claire and Roger a bit last minute, but it was a decision that I certainly didn’t regret!! I met up with the lovely Mandy and Jamie  for their pre wedding photography session at a scenic spot in Lancaster. The couple are soon going to have their wedding at the stunning West Tower, which they are obviously excited about! The evening I met up with Mandy and Jamie, it was going dark, so there was very little time to capture their pictures. Cumbria Wedding Photography A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working as Chris and Kelly's wedding photographer in the gorgeous Abbey House Hotel in Barrow-in-furness, Cumbria.
