Marcus & Emma | Pre Wedding Photographer Lancashire
Marcus and Emma's Pre wedding shoot was like something from a Disney movie! We had a beautiful sunny day, and so many people were talking to us as they walked through the park. They were complimenting Emma's shoes and dress (no surprise there as they are amazing!) and congratulating them as a couple. And a little girl even came up to me to ask what we were doing. The whole shoot was such fun, but mostly because both Emma and Marcus themselves are lovely people inside and out and such a joy to be around. They simply beam when they are together,...
Becci & Mike | Pre Wedding Photography Lancashire
A few days ago I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful couple for their pre wedding shoot in Preston, Lancashire. The evening couldn't have been more perfect! The sun was shining and it provided some gorgeous light for their photographs. We decided to wander across one of the bridges over the river in the park, and we came across a pretty track running through some woodland. During the shoot we were able to chat about details for their upcoming wedding, always an added bonus of a pre wedding shoot! It also gives a chance for couples...
Lindsay & Ian | Skitby Wedding Photographer Carlisle
It was such a gorgeous and sunny day when I first joined Lindsay for her bride prep at the well known Smith's Hotel in Gretna Green. She was getting ready in the Thistle Suite which had a beautiful balcony overlooking Gretna. Ian and Lindsay were married in Lockerbie, and went on to have their wedding reception at the gorgeous Skitby in Carlisle. The room had a pretty and rustic look with open beams, bunting and a cute travel theme that Lindsay had clearly put a lot of thought into - and lots of amazing cakes! For their wedding breakfast...
Katy & Andrew | Wedding Photographer Castle Green Hotel
Andrew and Katy were married a few days ago at the beautiful Castle Green Hotel located in Kendal, in the Lake District. It was such a perfect day for them, the sun was shining which provided ideal conditions for all their guests to relax in the warm sunshine outside during the wonderfully chilled day. Katy and Andrew didn't want to have an overly formal wedding, so chose not to have speeches or a cake... which just added to the relaxed feel even more! They were joined with their closest family and friends, and their two gorgeous...
Clara & Duncan | Gretna Wedding Photographer Scotland
Meet Clara and Duncan! This gorgeous and kind pair ran off to Gretna Green in true elopement style to get married in an intimate ceremony at the famous Blacksmiths Shop . The drive up to Scotland that morning was particularly wet and the dark clouds covered over the hills. Surprisingly as soon as the ceremony was finished it brightened up and stopped raining which was perfect for the bride and groom portraits!
When couples book me to photograph their wedding at Gretna Green they don't usually want an overly traditional photography...
Bronwyn & Leon | Wedding Photographer Portmeirion
Meet Bronwyn and Leon! This amazing couple were married a few days ago at the stunning location of Portmeirion which is in North Wales. Every wedding has a certain feel, and this one was full of such warmth and friendly people, and the bride herself was such a beautiful person inside and out! It's not every day a bride absolutely insists on helping me carry my camera gear. Bronwyn did exactly that, as I was setting up for the evening reception.
Portmeirion was made to look like an Italian village, and the quirkiness was the perfect backdrop...
Raisa & Umar | Manchester Wedding Photographer
The stunning Raisa and Umar were married a few days ago at the Registry Office in Manchester. They make such a beautiful couple, and it was so much fun to capture a few portraits of them together with the urban background of a city they know well. After the ceremony, they went on to celebrate at the well known Nawaabs restaurant where they met up with more family and friends. Their day was relaxed without too many formalities, and full of so many kind and friendly people who were a pleasure to be around.
Raisa and Umar, thank you both...
Lacey & Jake | Gretna Green Photographer
Meet Lacey and Jake! This gorgeous pair were married a few days ago at Gretna Green in Scotland. They decided to run away to Gretna Green together for a romantic intimate wedding and photoshoot, which was such a pleasure to be a part of! Especially when they asked me to be one of their witness for signing the register. They were married at The Mill Forge, which is where we did their photographs after the ceremony. They had perfect weather, the winter sunshine brightened up the beautiful scenery.
Lacey and Jake, it was so lovely to meet you both...
Kaye & Michael | Wedding Photography Gretna Green Scotland
Meet the gorgeous Kaye and Michael and their beautiful little family. They decided to run off to Gretna Green, just the five of them. There is something so special about a small and intimate wedding, with just family members. It was an extra privilege for me as they asked me to be a witness and sign the register along with Kaye's wonderful make up artist. Gretna Green is such a popular location for obvious reasons, but it's exciting to be asked to travel there to capture more natural photographs amid the tourist hot spot.
Kaye...
Lauren & Jason | Rowton Castle Wedding Photographer
Jason and Lauren had a fairytale wedding at Rowton Castle in Shropshire. It was a perfect location - a stunning castle background from the 17th Century.
Their day was a lovely and intimate one, shared by just 13 of their closest family and friends - some who came all the way from America. From start to finish the day was relaxed and fun. Smaller weddings are always a pleasure to photograph - a different atmosphere to a larger day, they are so special in their own right when couples don't want an overwhelming number of guests. Although...
