Jenna & Tom | Comlongon Castle Wedding Photographer Scotland
Tom and Jenna were married at the stunning Comlongon Castle in Scotland on a sunny Autumn day. It was a unique, intimate wedding which was incredibly relaxed. The castle provided the perfect cosy atmosphere for everyone to enjoy themselves in comfort. Jenna and Tom had put a lot of thought into the details of the day, which were a pleasure to capture along with the natural moments.
Outdoors there were ponies and foals in the field behind the castle, it really was picture perfect! The castle itself is always a stunning backdrop...
Hayley & Gareth | Pre Wedding Photography Preston
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with Hayley and Gareth the other day for their pre wedding shoot in Preston. They are one of those couples that are very much in love, and it was nice to see that they enjoyed themselves for their shoot! Hayley was a natural in front of the camera, despite feeling a tad apprehensive beforehand. I always aim to keep engagement shoots simple, fun and fresh, to put a couple as much at ease as possible. After all, it's a great trial run for their big day, seeing how it will feel to be the stars of the show!
We...
Michelle & Rob | Criccieth Wedding Photography Wales
I think whatever I say is simply not going to be enough to describe Michelle & Rob's amazing wedding day! I first got an email from Rob a month ago, his wedding photographer had cancelled last minute and they were desperate to find someone. Surprisingly I was free (unusual this time of year!) and I jumped at the chance to join them both in the stunning town of Criccieth in Wales. I had recently worked at the beautiful Portmeirion which is very close to Criccieth, so was over the moon to get invited back to Wales so soon after my last...
Matty & Lyndsey | Gretna Green Wedding Photography Scotland
Recently I had the pleasure of running off to Gretna Green, Scotland to shoot a stunning wedding. The day was an incredible one, my little family and I enjoyed a weekend away where we were able to join in with the festivities as I was working as their wedding photographer. The day felt like it had so much more meaning as it was a family wedding, I am always attached to my brides and grooms as I get to know them before the big day, but when it's family... it's a whole different level!
Despite torrential rain for a majority of the morning...
Wedding Photography Lancashire & Cumbria
I was back at one of my absolute favourite wedding venues this weekend, the very stunning Linthwaite House Hotel in Cumbria. Overlooking Lake Windermere, it's an amazing location on a normal day, but to be there in the sunshine... it's paradise! I was at Linthwaite a few weeks ago for Richard and Magda's Pre Wedding Shoot, where the trees were still lacking leaves and the flowers were not yet in bloom. We were blessed on Saturday, as the leaves and flowers have now come out giving the gardens and scenery extra beauty.
Magda is Polish, as her parents...
Jade & Chris - Statham Lodge Wedding Photography Cheshire
I joined Chris and Jade at the stunning Statham Lodge in Cheshire for their big day. I first heard from Chris a few months ago, when he enquired about a last minute wedding. Their wedding was a bit rushed as he will soon be deployed as he works for the Navy. Once I'd met up with them for their pre wedding shoot, I was over the moon that I happened to be free! Statham Lodge is a stunning wedding venue, like no other that I've worked at before. Not to mention that Chris and Jade are a beautiful couple, inside and out. This made working...
In this modern society, it is the norm to receive your wedding and portrait photographs in digital files. This is incredibly beneficial, and practical. However, there is nothing quite like seeing your pictures in print, in front of you in a beautiful wedding album to treasure. I decided to order an example of one of the albums I offer my clients, so they can see for themselves the beauty of pictures in print.
I opened this package with much excitement, and I certainly was not disappointed with what I found! Inside the beautiful leather cover embossed with 'Karli Harrison Photography', some of my favourite...
The second wedding venue I'd like to mention on this locations section of my website is the stunning Inglewood Manor, which was one of the most beautiful venues I've had the pleasure of working at so far. It's located near Chester, in Cheshire. It's a gorgeous Tudor style manor house was built around 1860, and cost a grand total of £7,500. Set on lush grounds, the beautiful green grass, trees, gates and pond make for a perfect location for wedding photography. I just love venues such as this one, as it makes it so much easier to be creative, as you have a lot of things around you to inspire you.

One thing couples want to see when checking out wedding photographers is a portfolio. Many people are happy to view this online, and in this modern society it's easy, quick and convenient. But some people prefer to see albums in front of them, and I have to say, it's amazing viewing photographs in print. They truly come to life on the pages of an album. I have a couple of albums that I take along with me to potential client meetings. One is simply meant as a portfolio of my best images from last year's weddings, and the other one is a sample of the albums available to my clients if they are wanting...
Rachel & Chris | Sefton Park Wedding Photography Liverpool
Chris and Rachel's lovely wedding day in Sefton Park, Liverpool was one packed full of personal touches. I have to say, it was the first time I've ever had a bride walk down the aisle to a church organ which was playing a few bars from a Star Wars song! During her morning preparations, Rachel had the most beautiful shoes which were hand painted with a scene from Mario, their cake was the most spectacular Mario theme with the characters Princess Peach and Mario on the top to represent Rachel and Chris.
Besides the beautiful details,...
