Lindsay & Ian | Skitby Wedding Photographer Carlisle It was such a gorgeous and sunny day when I first joined Lindsay for her bride prep at the well known Smith's Hotel in Gretna Green. She was getting ready in the Thistle Suite which had a beautiful balcony overlooking Gretna. Ian and Lindsay were married in Lockerbie, and went on to have their wedding reception at the gorgeous Skitby in Carlisle. I had the privilege of working at a very beautiful Dalston Hall wedding a few months ago. Dalston Hall is a Grade II listed Castle, located in Carlisle, in the Northern Lake District. Situated in acres of private woodland and stunning gardens, it's a perfect place for a wedding. Starting out as Dalston Hall's Pele Tower, it was built in 1500. In the time that followed, additional extensions and changes were made to the building.
