I’ve had the pleasure of working here a number of times, and it’s quite honestly such a fun place to work as a photographer!

Nestled in between quaint buildings are plenty of opportunities for photos with gorgeous architecture, gardens and the expanse of the sea view. No matter the weather it’s such a unique and fun place to photograph a couple.

Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, an eccentric architect with a passion for conservation and design, is the mastermind behind the creation of Portmeirion. Inspired by the Italian coastal village of Portofino, Williams-Ellis set out to build a whimsical and vibrant village that would blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings.

Construction of Portmeirion began in 1925 and continued for several decades, with Williams-Ellis carefully selecting each building and feature to complement the landscape.
