Meg and Chris are one of those couples that you instantly warm to. From the very start, they were an absolute pleasure to be around, and I was incredibly excited to be capturing their wedding photography for them! Their day was a stunning one, the weather was absolutely perfect. The mood from the moment we walked into the house was relaxed and happy, and the party had already started. I enjoy this type of environment, as it makes my job so much easier when everyone is relaxed and enjoying themselves. They easily forget I’m there so I can capture natural pictures.

The Isla Gladstone in Liverpool is where they had their wedding ceremony and reception, and it is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen. I know some photographers cringe at the idea of a sunny day, and a huge glass conservatory, but I loved it! There is so much natural light, it was amazing.

There were many cute personal touches that Meg and Chris had included in their day, including chocolate moustaches/ lips, a cake that was shaped as a house with their cats on it, scrabble tiles used as name place cards and Chinese lanterns at the end of the evening.
