Magda & Richard | Linthwaite House Hotel Wedding Photography Cumbria
I met up with Richard and Magda the night before their wedding day, as they were having a BBQ at Linthwaite House Hotel with all their wedding guests before tying the knot the next day. I loved meeting all of the guests before the big day, and I can honestly say that at the wedding I felt at home. I’ve never had so many people talk to me before, it was lovely!
I always find wedding write ups difficult as there is so much to say each day, and I can’t possibly think of words to describe the day as well as I can capture the mood with my camera. But it was very relaxed, happy, sunny and chilled.
The bride Magda’s Mum and Dad had a translator with them so they could chat with guests, as they are both Polish. During speeches it was clear how much Magda and her parents miss each other, as they live so far apart. One of my favourite moments was when Magda gave her Mum a huge hug and didn’t want to let go. There weren’t many dry eyes in the room.
I could go on forever, but I won’t! Magda and Richard, thank you both so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer! It was a pleasure to join you for such a special day. Here are a few highlights from the day.
Beautiful! What a lovely bouquet! Stunning photos x
