Lancashire Country House Hotel Wedding Photography

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Laura and Michael’s wedding photography at Higher Trapp Country House Hotel in Burnley, Lancashire. The day was a lovely one, and even though the sun wasn’t shining we all still had a beautiful day. It was a dry day, which allowed us to get some  pictures outside in the gardens of the Country House Hotel. I had never had the privilege of shooting wedding photography at this particular venue before, and I was impressed with the gorgeous bridal suite. The large four poster bed was a perfect setting to hang Laura’s dress from in the morning while Laura was getting ready for a few shots. The room also has a huge bay window which made a stunning setting  to hang her dress for a shot in which I got a Laura’s wedding shoes in the foreground and her dress in the background. It’s so much easier to be creative with wedding pictures when you have a lovely setting to work from.

The day was an emotional one for many, and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves.
