The impressive Hillbark Hotel, Wirral is next on my wedding venue locations list. I am going to have the pleasure of capturing Hillbark Hotel wedding photography this year, which I’m really looking forward to! It’s a perfect location for weddings. I was there last year working as a second cinematographer, but this time I’m going to be doing what I love the most, photography.
Built in 1891, it’s said that the grand Hillbark Hotel is made entirely of wood. It’s a lovely location for a spa break, a weekend away, and an ideal building for a fairytale wedding. The grounds a gorgeous, creating the perfect scenery, and a lovely backdrop for wedding photographs.
Here’s a screen shot from my filming from the wedding last year. The very beautiful bride was strolling across the landing, arm in arm with her father on her way down to the ceremony room. A string quartet sat in the corner playing classical music, and a few lucky guests were able to view her as the sun light lit her up as she walked past. I love the emotion of the moment captured in this one shot. I will soon be updating my blog with Hillbark photos from my upcoming wedding.
