Group Photos | Wedding Photographer Dumfries and Galloway Scotland
Many people ask me if I take group photos at weddings. This is a very good question, as when you look through my work on both my website and on any social media the types of photos showcased are usually natural. Guests laughing but not looking at the camera – the romantic detail photos -bride and groom portraits.
I am more than happy to take a few group photos at weddings, I do appreciate how incredibly important they can be to a couple and relatives alike. Especially your older relatives! Often weddings are events where family are together for the first time in many years, and it’s nice to have professional photos of these shots. Saying that, I always recommend keeping the number of different combinations to a small number at most. The reason is that they can take away from the time I have to photograph all of the lovely natural reactions of your guests, your bride and groom portraits, and the empty room detail photos before your guests go inside for their meal.
If you have anything specific in mind for you wedding I’m always happy to chat about it with you!
