Emma’s Whinfell Forest Family Photography

Meet Emma and her gorgeous little family! I had the privilege of joining them last weekend at Whinfell Forest Center Parcs in Cumbria. We had a nice stroll together, making the most of the lush greenery of the trees for their photos. The main wildlife to be seen were the friendly ducks, no doubt hoping for some free handouts! The weather was overcast, but yet bright enough to provide some nice light for Emma’s photos. As pretty as sunshine can be, working with diffused overcast light is much more flattering. Less harsh shadows and no squinting subjects!

I absolutely love it when I receive photo shoots for Center Parcs! Whatever the weather, we always have a nice time in the stunning forests of Whinfell, and the light never fails to disappoint. It’s refreshing to be able to capture little snippets of nature during the shoot. It adds little reminders of the location for the family.
