Chris and Jade are going to be my first wedding this year, so it was exciting meeting them at Statham Lodge for their pre wedding photography.  It was a gloriously sunny day as I made my way to Statham, but typically about five minutes after I arrived it clouded over. Needless to say it didn’t ruin our engagement shoot! I love being able to meet with couples at the actual venue where they will be getting married. As we had a look around the gardens, we were able to explore all of the options we will have on the day for their photographs. We were also kindly allowed to have a peek inside the rooms where Jade and her bridesmaids will be getting ready, and see the room where they will be getting married if the weather lets us down. Excitingly, if the weather is dry they are hoping to have the wedding ceremony outdoors.

Statham Lodge is a stunning Georgian manor house, located in acres of private gardens. The views across the Cheshire fields beautiful, and the building itself is so pretty. I can’t wait to go back next month for the wedding.
