2012 has come to an end, and wow, what a year it has been! I would like to say a massive thank you to all of my lovely clients. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you all, and I've loved capturing your wedding, engagement, family and newborn photographs. It's been so much fun! Alison and Scott’s wedding was a true pleasure to photograph. Their day was stylish, laid back and very them, and I’m so glad I was able to join them and capture their memories for them as their wedding photographer. West Tower Wedding Photography Mandy and Jamie’s wedding day took place at the gorgeous venue, West Tower. I was very excited to work as their wedding photographer as I had been to West Tower before and I know it’s a beautiful place to shoot wedding photography, both inside and out. Not only is the building a beautiful place for a wedding to take place, but the staff that work there are lovely too. I spend most of my time working as a wedding photographer, travelling all over the UK. But as many wedding photographers find, weddings seem to go through patches where you have loads together, then nothing for a few weeks or sometimes months. Usually in these quieter periods I get enquiries for Lifestyle family shoots and newborn sessions and I love it! It's such a refreshing change. I am still doing what I love, but mixing it up a bit. My usual style for a lifestyle shoot is to take kids to a park and let them run around, laugh, and play. But obviously with a newborn session, taking the photographs...

I recently met up with Chris and Emma and their gorgeous kids Kai and Nyah for a lifestyle photo shoot. We used Ashton Park in Preston,Lancashire to give us some green background, and to let the kids have some space to play.  I'm used to working as a wedding photographer, which I love, but I do enjoying lifestyle portrait sessions almost as much. I was excited about this shoot as I just LOVE letting kids charge around big open spaces such as grassy fields. But adding to the fun they also have a new dalmatian puppy called Lulu. Lake District Wedding Photography, Linthwaite House Hotel The 4th of June was the perfect day. It’s funny how looking back on it, it seemed like a dream. Trish and Rich chose the Linthwaite House Hotel in Cumbria to get married, and they couldn’t have chosen better! It’s a beautiful hotel with a stunning view and grounds. Lancashire Country House Hotel Wedding Photography A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Laura and Michael's wedding photography at Higher Trapp Country House Hotel in Burnley, Lancashire. The day was a lovely one, and even though the sun wasn't shining we all still had a beautiful day. It was a dry day, which allowed us to get some  pictures outside in the gardens of the Country House Hotel. I had previously met up with Sandy and Jon twice before their wedding day, so when the big day arrived, it felt like we were friends. This makes it more enjoyable for all involved on the wedding day, as they feel comfortable with me, so are more likely to relax in front of the camera. Kew Gardens Wedding Photography / Videography - London A few months ago I had the pleasure of working as second videographer at a wedding in London, Kew Gardens It was an amazing experience! Besides shooting the wedding in such a gorgeous venue at Kew Gardens, we ended up riding a golf cart around the gardens for the couples wedding photography / videography portraits before the light went. We managed to get some stunning footage before it went dark, much to our relief. The gardens are stunning, I hope to go back and enjoy them properly some day when I'll have more time to explore the grounds....
