Holly & Simon | Cumbria Wedding Photography Linthwaite House Hotel I had the pleasure of meeting up with the lovely Holly and Simon a few weeks ago for their gorgeous intimate evening wedding at the stunning Linthwaite House Hotel. I was only with them for a few hours, but the atmosphere was obviously one of relaxed happiness. I had the privilege of joining the lovely Jenna Carpenter Photography in capturing the Cumbria wedding photography of Catriona and Tristan. Outdoor Wedding Catering | Cumbria & Lancashire Wedding Photography Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Philippa & Graham's wedding in the stunning Loweswater area of Cumbria, Lake District. Their wedding day was a unique and fun packed day, with all sorts of  detailed personal little touches. Portmeirion Wedding Photography Sneak Peek It's always exciting getting back from a wedding and taking a little look at the photographs captured that day. I met up with the lovely Nicola and her beautiful family for a Wirral Lifestyle photography shoot.  I was pleased to get some of their gorgeous little boy, Lewis, as they had taken him to a photography studio when he was a baby and he had cried the whole time. Nicola was saying that it was a stressful event for all of them, so she was pleased to see her three year old happy in his own home. Chris and Jade are going to be my first wedding this year, so it was exciting meeting them at Statham Lodge for their pre wedding photography.  It was a gloriously sunny day as I made my way to Statham, but typically about five minutes after I arrived it clouded over. Needless to say it didn't ruin our engagement shoot! I love being able to meet with couples at the actual venue where they will be getting married. As we had a look around the gardens, we were able to explore all of the options we will have on the day for their photographs. Some people you meet leave a lasting impression, and Paul and Debbie certainly did that! I knew when I first received their wedding enquiry that it was going to be an interesting one. Their wedding venue of choice is the stunning Portmeirion in Wales. I've been there a couple times before, so I know working there as a wedding photographer is going to be fantastic. Last year I found the wonderful website and blog,  The Wedding Community. It's a fantastic site for all wedding photographers, brides and grooms, and wedding suppliers.  I saw they were running something called 'Picture of the Day' where photographers can submit a few images to the blog, and if picked, a picture will be featured on their site. I decided to submit just one image, and I was over the moon to be featured.
