Bronwyn & Leon | Wedding Photographer Portmeirion
Meet Bronwyn and Leon! This amazing couple were married a few days ago at the stunning location of Portmeirion which is in North Wales. Every wedding has a certain feel, and this one was full of such warmth and friendly people, and the bride herself was such a beautiful person inside and out! It's not every day a bride absolutely insists on helping me carry my camera gear. Bronwyn did exactly that, as I was setting up for the evening reception.
Portmeirion was made to look like an Italian village, and the quirkiness was the perfect backdrop...
Raisa & Umar | Manchester Wedding Photographer
The stunning Raisa and Umar were married a few days ago at the Registry Office in Manchester. They make such a beautiful couple, and it was so much fun to capture a few portraits of them together with the urban background of a city they know well. After the ceremony, they went on to celebrate at the well known Nawaabs restaurant where they met up with more family and friends. Their day was relaxed without too many formalities, and full of so many kind and friendly people who were a pleasure to be around.
Raisa and Umar, thank you both...
Steffan & Elaine | Gretna Green Wedding Photographer
Meet the gorgeous Elaine and Steffan! This beautiful couple were married a few days ago in Gretna Green, Scotland. We met at Comlongon Castle for some photographs in the gardens. The winter sun was shining giving us some very pretty light in the castle grounds. We then moved on to the registry office for the ceremony, and later drove to Annandale Distillery for a private tour of their whisky making process. It was such a fun and intimate wedding and Elaine and Steffan were both a pleasure to work with. It's clear how much they love each...
Lacey & Jake | Gretna Green Photographer
Meet Lacey and Jake! This gorgeous pair were married a few days ago at Gretna Green in Scotland. They decided to run away to Gretna Green together for a romantic intimate wedding and photoshoot, which was such a pleasure to be a part of! Especially when they asked me to be one of their witness for signing the register. They were married at The Mill Forge, which is where we did their photographs after the ceremony. They had perfect weather, the winter sunshine brightened up the beautiful scenery.
Lacey and Jake, it was so lovely to meet you both...
Family Photographer | Cumbria Family Photography
Meet this gorgeous family! When my wedding clients Michelle and Dominic contacted me asking if I would do a family photo shoot for them to celebrate Michelle's parents 40th wedding anniversary, I jumped at the chance! We had a lovely time in Cumbria where they were spending some time on holiday. We took a walk down to the pier and despite the weather being cloudy it was perfect light for flattering portraits in more natural surroundings than a studio. The star of the show had to be little Tilly who was super cute!
Michelle, Dominic and family...
Kaye & Michael | Wedding Photography Gretna Green Scotland
Meet the gorgeous Kaye and Michael and their beautiful little family. They decided to run off to Gretna Green, just the five of them. There is something so special about a small and intimate wedding, with just family members. It was an extra privilege for me as they asked me to be a witness and sign the register along with Kaye's wonderful make up artist. Gretna Green is such a popular location for obvious reasons, but it's exciting to be asked to travel there to capture more natural photographs amid the tourist hot spot.
Kaye...
Lauren & Jason | Rowton Castle Wedding Photographer
Jason and Lauren had a fairytale wedding at Rowton Castle in Shropshire. It was a perfect location - a stunning castle background from the 17th Century.
Their day was a lovely and intimate one, shared by just 13 of their closest family and friends - some who came all the way from America. From start to finish the day was relaxed and fun. Smaller weddings are always a pleasure to photograph - a different atmosphere to a larger day, they are so special in their own right when couples don't want an overwhelming number of guests. Although...
Katie & John | Family Photographer Lancashire
Meet Katie & John and their little family. I had the pleasure of photographing them with their gorgeous son a couple years ago, when he was tiny. It was so special for them to invite me back to photograph his new adorable little sister, and the whole family together at their home. There's something touching about seeing clients a few years down the line, when they've started a family, or when their family has expanded! I love doing shoots at houses, often it provides a much more relaxed atmosphere for everyone, especially for the kids when...
Jenny & Mark | West Tower Wedding Photography
The beautiful Jenny & Mark were married a few days ago at West Tower, in Lancashire. They were joined on the day by their gorgeous baby girl, who was so well behaved for the whole wedding! They had such great weather- the sun even came out during parts of the day lighting up the colourful Autumn leaves. Mark and Jenny were originally going to get married earlier in the year, but the surprise of Amelia meant they had to reschedule for a bit later. They couldn't have picked a more perfect day to change the date to! It was clear how much...
Andrea & Rob | Mitton Hall Wedding Photographer
Meet Rob and Andrea! This wonderful couple were married at the stunning Mitton Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire. They had such a perfect day which included some gorgeous Autumn sunshine. Because it was dry we were able to take a stroll down by the river along the grassy fields of grazing sheep for their photographs as man and wife. It was a lovely and relaxing atmosphere.
There are far too many little details that I could mention from their day, but I like the photographs to speak for themselves.
Andrea and Rob, thank you both so much...
