Julie and Ward’s day was a bit of a special one. I was asked to join up with them for a wedding photography shoot, as unfortunately their wedding photos provided by another photographer weren’t quite what they’d hoped for. It was a true pleasure to take their “wedding” photographs for them, although at first it felt a little strange, knowing there wasn’t going to be an actual wedding on that day! But I soon got into it, and not having any time restraints really helped us all relax and enjoy ourselves.

Julie is one of those people that you instantly warm to. She’s caring, kind, beautiful and a wonderful human being. So being able to capture beautiful photos for her was such a pleasure and an honour. She had her make up and hair done by Elegance Mobile Beauty in one of the Castle Inn rooms. It was a stunning room with a large bed, a gorgeous bathtub and lots of space. Julie thoroughly enjoyed being pampered, and she deserved it!

The Castle Inn where Julie and Ward were staying over that night were great. They were very accommodating and friendly, and made the day more enjoyable for all of us. We did get the odd confused glance from passing customers, but all in all it was a great day spent with truly lovely people.
