Cumbria Wedding Photography

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working as Chris and Kelly’s wedding photographer in the gorgeous Abbey House Hotel in Barrow-in-furness, Cumbria. The day was an emotional one, just one look at groom Chris as Kelly walked up the aisle, and you could see how moved he was to see his bride. I love looking at the groom when all other eyes are on the bride, the emotion is truly beautiful! Kelly was the epitome of the radiant bride, she was beaming throughout the whole day. It was no wonder Chris looked so moved! It’s little moments like this that still pull at my heart, I’ve done so many weddings now, but each one is unique. And it’s seeing how in love the couples are that make this job so rewarding for me. Especially knowing that I am capturing those memories for the couple to treasure forever. They will be able to look at those photographs in years to come, and recall how they felt on the day, which is why I love capturing such an important part of their lives. It’s not just a job to me, it’s definitely a passion. And I’ve been told many times that this passion reflects in my work, as I love what I do.

The day ran without any hitches, and it was obvious how much everyone enjoyed themselves by the smiles on their faces. Here’s a little sneak peek of the wedding pictures.
