Harry & Nina | Lyme Park Photography Engagement Shoot Cheshire
Meet Harry and Nina! This gorgeous pair got engaged a year ago to the day of their shoot. Harry decided to surprise Nina and hire a photographer – it was so lovely to be a part of it! The look on Nina’s face when she realised why she was there at the stunning Lyme Park (and why I was there) was touching. Harry, we think you’ve definitely earned some brownie points with her!
We made the most of the stunning grounds of Lyme – famous for being used as Mr Darcy’s house Pemberley in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Sadly Colin Firth was nowhere to be seen! The grounds at Lyme are simply stunning no matter the time of year- and we found some evergreen bushes for some photographs with a bit more of a spring feel. The estate at Lyme is 1,400 acres of stunning scenery and gardens and is the largest estate in Cheshire. The buildings themselves provide such elegance and history- it’s a gorgeous place to visit.
The weather was dry for the time we were there, with the sun occasionally poking out from behind the clouds. Amazingly, Harry had timed the shoot just right as when we finished the heavens were ready to open up. Definitely jammy!
Harry and Nina, it was so lovely to meet you both and join you for a shoot in such a special location. Here’s your little sneak peek, the rest will be ready very soon. x
