Meet the gorgeous Sarah and Stephen and their little family! They were married a few days ago at Sunderland City Hall. Sarah got in touch about photographing their ceremony, it was an intimate celebration with their lovely kids and parents. Smaller ceremonies are always so special – you can’t lose sight about what the day is about – the bride and groom!

I met them in the modern building Sunderland City Hall where the ceremony rooms are, and we were able to take some photographs outdoors afterwards as the weather was kind to us. The light was pretty as despite the clouds the setting sun gave a soft glow to the photographs as we took them across the street in the square. Fairy lights and trees gave a lovely little backdrop for their photographs.
