Where do I start with this one?! Mirena and James contacted me to ask if I would be up to travelling to the absolutely stunning Plockton in the Scottish Highlands for their wedding. Dream come true? Absolutely!!

They had their intimate wedding ceremony on a tiny tidal island in Plockton – a fishing village known as the Jewel of the Highlands. Despite the wet weather, the guests with umbrellas added to the intimate feel of the vows. Afterwards the sun actually came out and we had some gorgeous weather for their bride and groom portraits. This was my favourite part of the day- where we scrambled up a large rocky hill, walking up a small stream to reach incredible panoramic views. The best man joined us (Official Coat Holder) who added to the light mood and we all had a lot of fun soaking up the scenery surrounding us.

During the duration of the day the wedding guests were able to enjoy the views from The Plockton Hotel beer garden, and the hotel is also where they all had their evening meal and celebrations. It’s such a cute location for weddings.

Mirena and James, you are such a beautiful couple inside and out. Your love and kindness shines through and you were such a joy to meet and photograph!
