Wedding photography is always an adventure! As much as each wedding is incredibly similar in how they work, many stay with me for their unique scenery, moments or qualities.

One place I love travelling to the most is Scotland. I end up there so many times a year, often taking my little family with me to go off and explore while I’m working. My Golden Retriever is always along with them for the ride!
I’ve been to tiny islands, castles, coast line… despite how the weather turns out Scotland is always a beautiful place to go. The rain and cloud can really make the landscape look moody, but when you do hit those rare sunny (and sometimes warm!) days they feel extra special.

Many wedding photographers I’ve met stay local. I completely understand why they do – the ease of being close to home, saving petrol money and less stress. But the weddings I love the most are those harder or longer to get to, those out in nature in the middle of nowhere. They make my heart sing!
