The best part of working as a wedding photographer is being there to capture emotions and little moments the bride and groom often miss on the day. There are the obvious times to look out for such as this one in the photo from a Portmeirion wedding in Wales. The handing over of bride to her new husband was a gorgeous and emotional one.

There are many moments I like to capture that aren’t as obvious – I like to scan the guests to look out for laughter – one of the best times for this is during the speeches. Getting photos of those speaking is great, but to include guest reactions with laughter and tears? Priceless! It’s the little moments I try and include with every wedding.
