Some people you meet leave a lasting impression, and Paul and Debbie certainly did that! I knew when I first received their wedding enquiry that it was going to be an interesting one. Their wedding venue of choice is the stunning Portmeirion in Wales. I’ve been there a couple times before, so I know working there as a wedding photographer is going to be fantastic. The buildings and scenery are spectacular, whatever the weather! If possible, I like to meet the couple at the wedding venue for their pre wedding shoot. This allows me to have a look around, and we can have an idea of the best places to go for their wedding photography. But obviously as the venue is so far away, Debbie and Paul kindly agreed to meet somewhere not too far from me.
The engagement shoot took place at Avenham Park in Preston, and we certainly picked the right day for it! The sun was shining, and we all enjoyed a stroll along the river, through the trees and gardens. Paul and Debbie were a joy to work with, it’s obvious how in love they are, and they are both so friendly and laid back. Paul’s sense of humour was perfect, all I needed to do was ask them to look at each other and they would make each other laugh, this made my job much easier!
Paul and Debbie, thank you both so much for asking me to capture your wedding photography for you! I can’t wait to join you for your big day, I know it’s going to be a beautiful day full of laughter and joy. See you again soon!
Lovely photos! Love the second to last one, so natural! x
