Lady Margaret Hall Nottinghamshire Wedding Photographer

Nestled in the fields of the Welbeck Estate is a lovely little wedding venue built in the 1950’s called Lady Margaret Hall. A simple building on the outside, it’s a gorgeous little location for a wedding venue. It’s a perfect blank canvas for a country wedding, keeping things simple.

Boasting plenty of windows, the venue is great for natural light – a photographer’s dream! Natural light is always more flattering than flash which can be a bit harsh, so looking for a wedding location with plenty of natural light should be a must to ensure you end up with your dream photos.

Another important feature is the fields surrounding Lady Margaret Hall. Perfect for enjoying the sunshine (or even a cloudy day!) they are there for your guests to enjoy games and relaxing.

During one of my weddings there, the lane was a stunning location for bride and groom portraits with the soft sunlight drifting through the trees. Some magic golden light from Golden Hour combined with nature is the perfect combo for any bride and groom portraits!
