What do Professional Photographers Use to Edit Photos?
One question I’ve had from clients is how do I edit photos? I like to keep my style natural and clean, timeless. Although some extreme editing trends can seem cool, I always think how will they age? One thing that’s certain is that clear colours and classic black and whites seem to be timeless, and it’s my go to style!
I envy the photographs with the skills (and patience!) that turn editing into an art form, but for my photos I use Lightroom from Adobe and once in a while Photoshop too to gently edit and tweak the images to bring out the best in them. Lightroom is always my workhorse editing software, as you can upload a whole wedding and batch edit as well as scroll quickly from photo to photo.
The answer is usually no. I like to take photos and capture a couple in their true honest form. BUT… if you wake up the day of your wedding with a huge spot from all the stress, I am more than happy to edit skin blemishes! Absolutely no problem at all!
