Barry & Emily | Sawrey House Wedding

Meet Barry and Emily! This beautiful couple had an intimate wedding in Beatrix Potter country. Married at the stunning Sawrey House Hotel in Cumbria, the venue is set in the rolling countryside of the Lake District. Surrounded by the colours of Spring, this was the perfect backdrop for their big day.

What the Pluck string quartet offered music from ceremony to the wedding breakfast, giving a lovely atmosphere for the guests to enjoy the soft sunshine and celebrations. Music is very close to Emily’s heart as she performs as an opera singer, so her music sheet roses in her wedding bouquet was a stunning personal touch.

Another gorgeous detail were the young trees that lined the ceremony aisle- one for each family to take home to remember the day by. They added nature to the room, perfectly tying in to the scenery from the large windows offered in the venue.
