Peckforton Castle | Cheshire Wedding Photographer
The incredible Peckforton Castle is by far one of the most grand locations I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing at. Set in Cheshire, this Grade 1 listed building was completed in 1851 by John Tollemach. His creation was a Medieval castle styled building, which offers a perfect place to stay, whether you’re getting married, having a break or just taking a day trip out to Cheshire.
Set up in the hills, you first glimpse the castle on the drive up. The majestic building stands out from the trees, the beautiful red stone adding to its beauty.
If you choose to get married at Peckforton Castle it is a great venue for either a grand event, or a more personal smaller wedding. Behind the castle there is a path you can follow which gives a bit of wild trees and field where I enjoy taking a bride and groom for their portraits as it provides a natural backdrop. And of course some photos in front of the castle itself look amazing! Whether for group photos, or just the bride and groom.
Here are a few photos from my latest wedding at Peckforton with the wonderful Matt and Becky.
