The stunning Isla Gladstone is located in Liverpool on the edge of Stanley Park, and is a  beautiful wedding venue. It’s always been one of my favourite venues to work at, as it’s a perfect location for wedding photography. The building which is a massive glass conservatory was bulit in 1870. No matter what the weather is doing in Liverpool, low light is never a problem. In very sunny conditions, the harsh glare from the glass ceiling is defused by the white cloth hanging from the roof.
 
The day I worked as a wedding photographer for Chris and Meg at Isla Gladstone, the weather was a mixture of glorious sunshine and cloudy, so I was able to see how the venue was in mixed conditions. For the couples portraits, we took advantage of the grounds at Isla Gladstone, then headed to Stanley Park which is absolutely perfect for wedding photography.
It was a beautiful day, filled with wonderful people. I’d highly recommend the Isla Gladstone for those wanting to get married in Liverpool and surrounding areas as it makes a rather magical wedding venue.
