Baby Darcie | Newborn Photographer Lancashire

Meet Darcie! This little girl is very special. Her Mummy and Daddy are good friends of ours. Last year they went through the devastating loss of their son who was born at 27 weeks, stillborn. He was a true fighter, hanging on for 7 whole weeks despite all odds, but sadly he didn’t make it. Through all this sadness and loss they became pregnant again, with this gorgeous girl. We couldn’t have been happier for them when she arrived safe and sound in her Mummy and Daddy’s arms.

It was a true privilege to be the one to do her first official photo shoot. I arrived expecting she would be sleeping, and maybe we would get a glimpse of her lovely eyes. How wrong I was! She was awake from start to finish, refusing to sleep but teasing us by closing her eyes here and there! She pulls some of the most wonderful faces and poses. It was entertaining to say the least! She is perfect in every way.
